No! The seat cushions are secured to the base with Velcro, ensuring they stay in place while you relax or lounge.

Can the covers of the sofa beds be removed for washing?

Although some covers have zippers, we do not recommend removing them for washing.

How do I care for and clean my sofa bed?

Our sofa beds are easy to maintain. For detailed cleaning instructions, refer to our Cleaning Guide:

Performance Bouclé:

  • Professional or DIY dry-cleaning is recommended for regular maintenance.
  • For DIY spot cleaning, use a solution of 1/4 cup vinegar, 3/4 cup warm water, and 1 tablespoon dish or Castile soap in a spray bottle. Lightly mist the stain, scrub gently with a soft cloth, and let it dry completely.
  • Use distilled water to avoid water stains.

Performance Fabric:

  • Use a lint roller or vacuum to remove dust, dander, and hair for daily care.
  • For spills, blot the area with a clean towel and a mild detergent solution (e.g., Dawn dish soap). Rinse with distilled water and let it air dry.

Important Notes for Both Fabrics:

  • Do not machine wash, steam clean, iron, or use bleach.
  • Cushion covers should remain intact and not be removed.

What should I do if my sofa bed cushion appears out of shape, thin, or wrinkled afterunpacking?

The mattress is compressed for easy transport. Allow it to fully expand and settle for at least 72 hours after unpacking.

Do regular fitted sheets and bedding fit on the sofa bed?

Yes! The sofa bed folds out to a queen-size mattress, so standard bedding and fitted sheets fit perfectly.

Do I need tools to assemble the sofa bed?

What makes the fabric handle spills and stains?

Our fabrics are treated with a water-based coating often used in medical and outdoor textiles.
This coating repels oils, stains, and liquids, preventing absorption.

  • Fabrics are water-repellent and stain-resistant but not waterproof.
  • Promptly wipe spills with a damp cloth using gentle, circular motions.

Can I schedule a delivery date?

At this time, we do not offer scheduled delivery dates. Tracking information will be provided once your order is dispatched.

Do you deliver to apartments or multi-story buildings?

Yes, we deliver to apartments and multi-story buildings. However, deliveries are made to the building’s lobby or front entrance.

Will the sofa bed be assembled upon delivery?

No, we do not offer assembly or white-glove delivery services. The sofa bed will be delivered in its packaging, and assembly can be completed in approximately 20 minutes.

How do I change my shipping address?

If your order hasn’t shipped yet, email us at hello@solplace.com with your order number and updated shipping address.

How fast is your shipping?

"In Stock" items ship from our California warehouse within 2–3 business days. Delivery within the contiguous U.S. typically takes 1–5 business days. During promotions or holidays, shipping
times may extend by 2–3 business days.

Returns and Refunds

What is the 120-Day Trial?

We offer a 120-Night Trial on all Sol Place products, whether purchased at full price or on sale. The trial begins automatically when your product is delivered, giving you ample time to decide if it’s the perfect fit.

Can I make changes to my order after it’s been dispatched?

Unfortunately, changes cannot be made once your order leaves our warehouse. However, you’re still covered by our 120-Day Trial Period.

What should I do if I receive a defective product?

If your product is damaged or defective, email us at hello@solplace.com with photos or videos of the issue and a detailed description. Our team will respond within two business days to assist
you.

I changed my mind! How do I cancel my order?

To cancel your order, email us at hello@solplace.com with "Cancel" and your order number in
the subject line.

  • Cancellation requests are guaranteed if received within 24 hours of placing your order.
  • After 24 hours, we can no longer guarantee cancellations but will help coordinate a return.

How long does it take to receive a refund?

Refunds are processed to the original payment method within two weeks of completing the return process.

What happens to returned products?

Returned products are cleaned and assessed. Based on their condition, they are:

  • Donated to individuals in need through our charity partners.
  • Re-homed to new owners.
  • Responsibly recycled.

In what condition do you accept returns?

We encourage you to enjoy your trial period! Reasonable wear and tear is acceptable, but returned products must be free of significant damage to be re-homed or donated.
